Leeds City Council are asking people to let them know about any issues related to travel in Leeds. This could be about accessing public transport facilities, feeling unsafe walking, wheeling or cycling, the attractiveness of a street, or where traffic and speeding are causing issues.
This feedback is important as it will help them to prioritise improvements, as and when funding becomes available, in line with Leeds Transport Strategy targets.
So far they have rolled the consultation out in the Inner West and Outer East community committee areas and will be making it live in the Inner North West and Outer North West areas from 26th February for six weeks.
The key message they are asking us to share with residents is for you to have their say on transport/safety issues in their local area. From the 26th February you can do this by visiting our webpage https://leedsstreetsforallonw.commonplace.is/ and dropping a pin on a map. There is also a short animation hosted on this page that explains the consultation more clearly.
The five main themes are:
1. Vehicles and parking
2. Walking and wheeling (including accessibility, prams, wheelchairs and scooters)
3. Cycling
4. Accessing bus stops and rail stations
5. The street environment
