Ilkley & District Motor Club – Jubilee Historic Rally & Run – Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October 2026
The above event is being organised by the above club in accordance with the Motor Vehicles (Competitions and Trials) Regulations and the national Competition Regulations of Motorsport UK. The event is a navigational rally for a maximum of 90 vehicles.
This event will cover over 180 miles on metalled and un-metalled roads across West and North Yorkshire over two days. The event will start in Otley on the Saturday evening and will re-start on Sunday morning at the A1 services at Wetherby. Dwellings on and close to the route have been visited in order that residents are aware that there will be additional traffic during the event.
The first car should be passing from Arthington, passing through the parish of Bramhope, heading towards Eccup from 18:35 hours on Saturday 24 October 2026. Cars will continue to pass at minute intervals for approximately 90 minutes.
Motor rallies and trials are permitted through the provisions contained in Section 13 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and detailed in the Motor Vehicles (Competitions and Trials) Regulations. In seeking authorisation, the relevant Police Authority and where applicable National Park Authority have been notified in accordance with the legislation.
