FROM YORKSHIRE WATER:

Please be advised that the A659 (Arthington Lane – see below map) is closed at its junction with The Tower Drive. So there is no access along the A659 through Pool at the moment.

There is an emergency diversion in place via the A658 Main Street /Pool Bridge/Weeton/Huby Pannal and along A61 Harrogate road towards Harewood.

10 “Road Closed” signs have been placed along the A659 from Pool to the junction with Harewood Bank to encourage traffic to use the diversion which is shown below. There are also a further 6 signs on the Pool side of the closure.

The work is expected to be temporary, and once the road has been reopened, we will continue to work with Leeds City Council to identify an appropriate opportunity to undertake any further investigations and return to complete the permanent repair and reinstatement works, at a time that causes the minimum disruption possible.
