Further to the notices of 18/03/2026 Leeds City Council have issued the following update
Yorkshire Water Pipe is repaired and remedial works to the carriageway continue to progress.
The road closure of Leeds Road is now removed and traffic is being managed under temporary traffic signals which are manually operated 0700 – 1900hrs until completion of the remedial works, estimated to be completed 23rd March 2026.
Network Management will continue to work with Yorkshire Water and monitor progress.
No further updates will be issued no on this matter.
