We have received the following information from First West and North Yorkshire buses.
From 30th March 2025, we’re introducing changes to our fares and simplifying the way we charge customers. The new prices follow adjustments to the Mayor’s Fares scheme in West Yorkshire.
Single fares will now be set at £2.00 or £2.50, depending on how far the customer is travelling. The lower fare will apply to journeys up to approximately one mile.
The simplest way for customers to travel is using Tap On, Tap Off (TOTO), which will automatically calculate the cheapest fare for their journey. With daily and weekly fare caps in place, customers can travel as much as they need without paying more than the capped amount.
We have worked closely with the Combined Authority to keep fares as affordable as possible and maintain a service that benefits both the community and the environment.
